Emily & Paul’s wedding was destined to be a big party–and it did not disappoint! Starting off in the party limo with the girls and ending with a big dance full of Scots–I mean, come on! I was tempted to stay and cut a rug with them…
The weather took a sudden turn a little before the wedding day and sure enough it properly rained most of the day.
The short mass ceremony was held at St. John the Evangelist Church in Whitby where a bagpiper greeted the guests and wedding party as the entered and departed from the church!
Since it was raining most of the day we started off by taking a few shots inside, but quickly realized it had stopped raining and we were free to wander the grounds at Royal Ashburn Golf Club! Such luck that we had about an hour to shoot outside. No more than 20 minutes after we finished it absolutely down-poured and continued to do so through most of dinner. But no one noticed because by then the party had started 😉
Just the Bride and Groom:
The reception kicked off with some fancy footwork care of the bride & groom’s parents, then a surprise dance routine by the wedding party. Dancing is the best and only way to start a reception…as far as I’m concerned.
Surprise Photo Booth (secretly planned by wedding planner extraordinaire Tiffany of Charmed Events!)
Tiffany and I looking awesome in the booth…we are fairly professional like this all the time.
Again, the weather agreed to give us a few minutes outside before my 2nd shooter and I took off and we managed to grab a few pretty back-lit shots on the golf green. So romantic…le sigh.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Carroll!
It was a blast working with you and your friends & family…and Tiffany.
